High Blood Pressure Testing

BHC checks and monitors all patients’ blood pressure counts upon arrival. Patients with abnormally high blood pressure are assessed and put on the appropriate medication. High blood pressure if not treated can lead to:

• Heart attack

• Heart failure

• Kidney failure

• Atherosclerosis (fatty buildups in the arteries)

• Blindness

• Stroke

• Death
