Interpretation and Translation
To ensure that language is not a barrier for our non-English speaking patients, BHC employs a highly qualified and competent staff in which 40% of our medical staff and 60% of our outreach workers are bilingual. Cultural competency is valued at our organization and incorporated into training activities for our staff. Our Special Populations Outreach Team is equipped with a bilingual staff and interpreters that conduct weekly outreach in our Latino Community. BHC works closely with other agencies to ensure the continuity of care and availability of resources for our Latino Community.
